Alan and Marilyn Bergman, the amazing lyricists for hundreds of films, etc, were on the CBS Sunday Morning show today. "The Windmills of Your Mind", "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", "Yellow Bird", "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?", "The Way We Were"...the list goes on and on...
Loving Art in all it's forms, I was taken by some words (about words) that Alan Bergman used to describe their work:
"Those words have to sit on the notes just right".
