Tuesday was a good day for being outside. Andie, Nate and I got an early start, and we did the Twin Falls hike along the Snoqualmie River east of Northbend.

The first mile or so was flat hiking along the river. The water was very clear, and the rapids swirling around some large boulders was cool.
The trail is really nice, and well maintained. 'Top of the line!' as an old co-worker used to say.

It felt like we were in the Olympics at times, with all the green...
There were even some benches at different resting points.

Following our return home, Nate and I took Inday to Saltwater Park. Our timing was perfect because it was low tide.



After some beach combing, I took some photos of the driftwood. I started seeing all kinds of creatures in the twisted shapes of wood. Sort of like lying on the grass and looking up at the clouds...
