I will never tire of walking along the Green River.

I'm starting to play more with the photo editing, like these "solarized" shots:

The oily water above I saw yesterday added to the color variations. This "solarized" tree above is from the photo below left.

I never know what will make me pull out my camera, but my theme today was more "blooming"...like the two shots at the bottom.

The yellows and greens are just sneak previews, and I'm waiting for that warmer weather. I can still see puffs of breath coming out on my morning walks, and even with gloves, my finger tips are still getting cold.

My walk this morning was special. A cool Spring day, with tree buds sprouting...very nice.

This is the part of the Duwamish Trail I walked yesterday, skirting the waterway on the left side, between the roadway and the water. I didn't even realize that I was looking out at an island, or peninsula. This photo was on the cover of this morning's Times "Pacific Northwest" Magazine.

along the Duwamish Trail today, and under the 1st Ave S Bridge...

I walked through the Black River wetlands area in Renton again this morning.

There's still a lot of green, but the other colors are coming...

I wanted to get a picture showing how the color was starting to come back, blooming out of the tangle of dead blackberry vines and bushes,
and I noticed this chubby little robin on a branch in the upper left.

These water patterns reminded me of the rain windshield shots I took yesterday.

overall, a very nice walk...
